‘Whatever floats your boat …’
An exhibition of new contemporary textiles that explores the town and environment of Slough, and the collections of Slough Museum. Each participant in the project is expected to create artworks that will share their own experiences, culture and understanding of what they see in Slough and in the collections of the Museum, and in turn share the process of creating this work with the other participants in the group.

Collection Inspiration Collage:
Handle historical artefacts from a Museum collection and learn how to use the potential of objects as a source of design and creative inspiration. Apply your ideas and create a recycled fabric collage, or use your ideas for your own projects. This workshop links to the work in our exhibition ‘Whatever floats your boat’ and will explore artefacts from the Slough Museum collection. Led by Jane Glennie.
